D8-MG IMO III

7.7 liter, in-line 6 cylinder

D8-MG is an in-line 6-cylinder, 7.7-liter diesel engine using common-rail fuel injection, double overhead camshafts, and a twin-entry turbo.

Our D8 IMO Tier III IWW engine is perfectly matched to our SCR-based after treatment system. The engine is based on Volvo Penta s existing D8 engine, which means that the engine footprint is the same and there are common interfaces. This makes it easy for our existing customers to install. Our D8 IMO III IWW engine is also designed to cope with high exhaust back pressure and is equipped to withstand the toughest of marine conditions.
